What Does it Mean to Build?
As a serial entrepreneur, I naturally thrive at bringing visions to fruition. As a believer, my first question to someone who is thinking about starting a business or new venture is, “Have you Prayed about it?” As a coach, my next question is off the beaten path of spirituality, meaning it’s more practical, and it is, “Have you counted the cost?” Building something from the ground up is no easy task. And only those willing to stay in prayer and give it their all are worthy of carrying that responsibility. Over my years of building, I have come to the conclusion that nothing I put my hands to will matter unless it’s Build with God.
- “Except the LORD build the house, They labour in vain that build it: Except the LORD keep the city, The watchman waketh but in vain.”

Needless to say, many people don’t put God in their plans. At most, they may consult God after their plans start to crumble. This is because we often make idols out of work and money! But it is time to set things in order and put God at the center.
What is the Build with God Movement?
The responsibility to build something significant and the fear of losing it all traumatized me at one point in my life. I am thankful that I have experienced great failure and loss so that this no longer scares me. As a builder, you will face many difficulties and setbacks. If you don’t, what you are building is not big enough!
As you may know, I have launched a new school in Atlanta called Atlanta Smart Academy, and don’t get me wrong, ASA is a BIG dream! It allows me to serve others through education! God has blessed me beyond my wildest imaginations, and this is just the beginning. This is why I’ve created the Build With God Movement!
The Build with God Movement is not designed to help you get rich (although you might); it is designed to help you grow in your faith in God! If I can help you to get past your fear of failure and your worship of money or success, you will build something great. Through BWG, you’ll be able to align your plan with God and launch the business of your dreams. I’ll review your ideas and help you to build a plan that will bring fear to its knees and give all the glory to God!

Put your business plan or idea before God. Be vulnerable and willing to get correction.
Now note how you feel. Did you get the answer you expected or were you offended by the request? God recognizes and honors obedience; remember that. However, we are often lured away and go astray because of our own desires. What I love about building with God is that I relinquish control to Him. I still work diligently but ultimately I understand that it is God that give us power to get wealth!
